Εφαρμογή διευρυμένης πραγματικότητας που επιτρέπει στα παιδιά να εναποθέσουν, ψηφιακά, τα πρόσωπά τους στο περιβάλλον τους και να έχουν φωνή στις συζητήσεις για την κλιματική κρίση δημιούργησε ο καλλιτέχνης Όλαφουρ Έλιασον (Olafur Eliasson).
Η Earth Speakr είναι μέρος συλλογικού έργου τέχνης, το οποίο συνοδεύεται από έναν ιστότοπο.
Προσφέρει στα μικρά που θα υποστούν τις επιπτώσεις των αποφάσεων που λαμβάνονται σήμερα μια πλατφόρμα για να σχετίζονται με τις επίσημες πολιτικές διαδικασίες.
«Αφορά το να δώσεις φωνή στον πλανήτη μέσω αυτών που πρόκειται να τον κληρονομήσουν» εξηγεί, σε σχετικό βίντεο, ο Δανο-ισλανδός καλλιτέχνης.
«Η Earth Speakr προσκαλεί τα παιδιά να υπερασπιστούν τον πλανήτη και τους μεγάλους ν’ ακούσουν τα όσα έχουν να πουν».

Today we celebrate International Youth Day! The theme this year is ‘Youth Engagement for Global Action’. Look at the ways in which the engagement of young people enriches our thinking, inside and outside institutions.
Take time to amplify their words and actions and together we can draw lessons from their inclusion.
@UnitedNations @UNDP In line with this mission, @EarthSpeakr invites kids to speak up about what matters to them, and adults and today’s decision-makers, change-makers, and global leaders to listen up to what kids have to say.
You can encourage a young person to speak up for the planet by downloading the Earth Speakr app and sharing it with them, and you can listen to kids’s messages and create Loud Speakrs to show you are engaging with their ideas. Olafur Eliasson, @UNDP Goodwill Ambassador and initiator of @EarthSpeakr, said of the project ‘I’m inspired by the millions of young people across Europe who show an urgent interest in the wellbeing of our planet.
They understand what is going on.
Yet they don’t all have the opportunity to express and share their ideas.
